We will work and build relationships and fellowships that demonstrate our sincere commitment to Christ Jesus, His Word, and Church through:
Selfless sacrifice is one of the ways as followers of Jesus Christ have been called to live. Jesus commanded that we should love as He himself loved us in the book of John 13:34 and we have also been admonished to lay down our lives for the brethren even as Christ laid down His life for us according to 1 John 3:16. Following this example of our Lord Jesus, we want to be able to live for Him even as it may seem difficult sometimes to do.
This is an example set for us by Jesus Christ when He declared in Matthew 20:28 that even He himself did not come to be served but to serve. This serves as a reminder for us who openly declared that He is our Lord and thus we will live to follow what He commands and the examples He sets for us. By this we know that we exist to serve others and not ourselves first.
Diligence in what we do in this day and age of technology is a very difficult thing to do. We have been called onto a diligent life style by JESUS in every aspect of our lives, in word or deed. Jesus noted that the only way I can be recognized as His disciple is when I am diligently following His word and applying it in my life, family, ministry and relationships practically through our daily knowledge of the scriptures. John 8:32
This is a state of being, especially in what we’ve been called to do. Jesus is the epitome of excellence and sending us out to set an example in this area. We just have to be good at what we do both theoretically and practically, personally and ministry wise, we would love to do things not only in a way that seems fitting in our own eyes but in a way that brings glory to Christ through offering our best for Him. 2 Chronicles 9:4-5
According to 2 Corinthians 5:10, we all will surely one day be brought to accountability for everything we have done on this earth, whether good or bad and irrespective of one’s title or position. Having this unfailing accountability in mind, we would set up an accountability team of who will continue to keep us in check for everything and in every aspect of my lives both individually and ministerial.
